  I don't think, look at Max/MinSpareServers vs. MaxClients. ;-) Also depends on how much RAM, etc. your Apaches currently consume and so on. Do you use a framework for your website?

  The servers are just pentium d (dual core). :O Not so great. Nginx helps a lot. :-)

  @tijs It's really easy. I can paste my conf too though, but I'm sure nginx.conf-dist is plenty. :-) Just let me know.

  We run our Apache's at MaxClients of 1024+ (depends on the hardware), Min/MaxSpareServers in the 100-200 range, KeepAlive Off, ListenBacklog on 80. We use 1.3 though, you are probably on 2.x. Our static content is outsourced to a CDN, and prior we used thttpd to serve it. If I we didn't have a CDN, I'd use nginx now.

  @alper I love my #e71. :-) It's my first Nokia phone ever and so far it's been really great.

  On other things, I agree - Nokia might make things slower for Plazes. the API is in "beta" again and the 2.0 API (plazes.net) was discontinued already.
